11th Annual Hearts for Caring – February through March

Who doesn’t have a heart? 

We are excited to launch our 11th annual “Hearts for Caring” fundraiser during the month of February to raise money for patients who need hospice services.  WV Caring, formally Hospice Care is a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation serving 12 counties in West Virginia that provides end-of-life care to patients regardless of their ability to pay for it.

WV Caring, a community owned and operated hospice, was founded by a very determined nurse with a big heart and a quest to help fill a void in providing hospice service to patients who needed the professional care and dignity for their final days.  Going on 37 years, the quest continues.  There are many of our parents and grandparents who have benefited from our quality of life service and we know others who want a choice in how they spend their final days.

Everyone has a heart and we believe you and your customers will too.  You can support WV Caring’s mission through a corporate sponsorship or allow your customers to donate $1 or more and proudly honor their loved one on a heart displayed in your business.  One dollar donated by many can make a big difference in our friends and neighbors lives. 

Our goal is to raise $10,000 during the annual Hearts for Caring, and I hope we can count on you to help us reach our goal.  This campaign will run for the entire month of February.  Please see the attached heart sample.  This campaign is similar to many national charitable organizations, but the big difference is all of the money raised will benefit local patients and families.
