Raising money to find cures
On Wednesday, November 26, Hospice Care will be joining forces with Huggie Bear Products to present “Shoot 2 Cure,” a special evening for anyone looking to honor those who have passed, or memorialize survivors of cancers and other diseases, as well as raise money for disease prevention and essential patient care.
Huggie Bear Products was inspired by Norma Mae Huggins, mother of Deb Huggins Bradford and West Virginia University basketball coach Bob Huggins as a way to raise money for cancer research in West Virginia.
This year’s Shoot 2 Cure will feature a candlelight memorial, followed by a speech from cancer survivor and inspirational speaker Chet Marshall. After that we will hold both silent and live auctions for autographed WVU sports memorabilia along with various other items.
Individual registration is available by calling 1-800-350-1161 or visit www.hospicecarecorp.org.
